Happy Wilson is our oxidised (blackened via a chemical process) solid sterling silver cheeky dog pendant with 14k gold vermeil details. He has two dangly legs with heart shaped 14k gold vermeil feet and a as cute as a button heart shaped gold vermeil nose. The necklace fastens with a lobster claw clasp and will come packaged in a lovely gift pouch; we recommend storing your silver jewellery in the pouch to protect it from the air & dust. Wilson was designed and hand drawn by One Button founder Amanda, and then translated into sterling silver by a silversmith.
For our 925 sterling silver jewellery we use 14 carat solid gold of at least 2.5 microns thickness. Vermeil is a technique originating in the 19th century where gold was applied to sterling silver. Vermeil is 5 times thicker than normal gold plate (which can tarnish & wear off) and therefore far more durable for your jewellery.
DIMS: The chain is approx 79cm long, and Wilson is 3cm high & 3.5cm across (approx).
