Meet Sally Songbird, our cheerful and pretty solid sterling silver earrings with 14k gold vermeil details. She roosts on a floral branch and has a heart shaped 14k gold vermeil jaunty tail. The french hooks are solid sterling silver & the earrings will come packaged in a lovely gift pouch. Sally Songbird was designed and hand drawn by One Button founder Amanda, and then translated into sterling silver by a silversmith.
 
Presented in a soft green velvet pouch with a silver cleaning cloth.
 
For our 925 sterling silver jewellery we use 14 carat solid gold of at least 2.5 microns thickness. Vermeil is a technique originating in the 19th century where gold was applied to sterling silver. Vermeil is 5 times thicker than normal gold plate (which can tarnish & wear off) and therefore far more durable for your jewellery.
