Stunning solid sterling silver heart pendant with an intricate 14 carat gold vermeil pie-crust edging. The heart hangs on a sterling silver chain & fastens with a lobster claw clasp. This is a wonderful piece and  has a timeless style. The heart pendant has been hand drawn by One Button founder Amanda and translated into sterling silver by a silversmith.
 
For our 925 sterling silver jewellery we use 14 carat solid gold of at least 2.5 microns thickness. Vermeil is a technique originating in the 19th century where gold was applied to sterling silver. Vermeil is 5 times thicker than normal gold plate (which can tarnish & wear off) and therefore far more durable for your jewellery.
 
DIMS: The chain is approx 80cm plus 2cm extension chain. The heart is approx 3cm long and 2.2cm at its widest point, it is approx 0.6cm thick.
