Meet Hartley our leaping hare solid sterling silver pendant with oxidised silver ears, heart shaped eyes & a 14k gold vermeil heart bob tail. Hartley is 3D in design and so it doesn't matter which way he hangs; he's the same from both sides. The chain is solid sterling silver & fastens with a lobster claw clasp. Packaged in a lovely gift pouch; we recommend storing your silver jewellery in the pouch to protect from air & dust. Hartley was designed and hand drawn by One Button founder Amanda, and then translated into sterling silver by a silversmith.
 
For our 925 sterling silver jewellery we use 14 carat solid gold of at least 2.5 microns thickness. Vermeil is a technique originating in the 19th century where gold was applied to sterling silver. Vermeil is 5 times thicker than normal gold plate (which can tarnish & wear off) and therefore far more durable for your jewellery.
